First-Aid Cover for Events across North Devon

Having an event? Need First Aid cover? Then look no further than Parish Ambulance Services. We have many years of first-aid experience, having worked with several first-aid organisations in the past.

We provide first-aid cover for a wide variety of events including; School Fetes, Horse Riding Events, Music Events and variety of Sporting Events. Whatever your needs we will be happy to discuss your options, just contact us today for a quote.

To book us please fill in the Online form on the Book Us page and we will get in touch to discuss your needs and give you a quote for our services. Please provide the following information, if you are just planning your event or do not know the following information then please Contact Us and we can discuss possible options.

  • Date and Time
  • Location/Venue
  • Type of Event
  • Number of Attendees/Participants
  • Any Other Special Requirements

There will be a £25 booking fee payable upon confirmation of your event booking, this will put towards the total cost of your event cover, however should your event be cancelled this will be non-refundable

Our Events Cover is now operated Carbon Neutrally.

First-Aid Training Courses

We are now offering training courses in level 3 first aid, which will be regulated courses unless requested otherwise by companies. All courses are geared toward companies specific requirements upon booking.

Courses we offer include;

  • First Aid at Work
  • Emergency First Aid at Work
  • Paediatric First Aid
  • Emergency Paediatric First Aid
  • Activity Aid
  • Oxygen Therapy Administration
  • Immediate Management of Anaphylaxis

We also offer some level 2 training courses in;

  • First Aid Risk Management
  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
  • BLR (Basic Life Support) and Safe Use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

We have some new additions to our offering for 2025, A cycle responder & now a Motorbike as well, which will be able to get where our ambulance cannot, and still provide you with top level first aid response.

About Helen

Hello, I'm Helen Freeman and I run Parish Ambulance Services, I am a mother of 2 and have been working in first aid for many years. I have completed 12 years with St John Ambulance and worked for 2 years with a private ambulance company. I have decided to that I would like to support my community by offering my services and experience at local events and have set myself up as Parish Ambulance Services to do this.

I have all necessary qualifications and experience and continue to gain more knowledge through training courses I attend, through these courses I now have the ability to offer training courses to local businesses and schools in first aid, for more information please see the training courses section.
